Service Description
The most popular class! A fantastic girls night, book club, birthday party or team building activity, this highly tactile class turns a simple slab into a masterpiece using stamps and carving tools. From a cylinder to a mug with a pulled handle, you'll learn the fundamental techniques of ceramic hand building in a fun and casual setting. You will have access to all the tools, equipment and materials in Katie's well supplied home studio, and be led through every step of the process by demonstration and patient guidance. Class capacity is 4-6 people, and the cost of class is $110 per person. Each class is typically 2 - 2 1/2 hours long. Each student will choose 1 piece to be glazed and fired with the color of their choice, which will be ready for pick up within 2-3 weeks of class. Class is held in Katie's home studio in Boise's North End. You are welcome to bring beverages and snacks to class. Classes are not held on a regular schedule, so please reach out to Katie to find a time that works for your group!
